Gary Rodriguez

Upon admission to the State Bar of Texas, Gary served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas from 1993 to 1995. His entrance into workers’ compensation started in 1995 as an Associate Attorney with Flahive, Ogden, & Latson, P.C., the largest workers’ compensation insurance defense firm in the State of Texas. During his tenure with Flahive, Ogden, & Latson, P.C., Gary defended hundreds of workers’ compensation claims throughout the State of Texas.

In 1997, Gary joined Paul Schorn in forming the law firm of Rodriguez & Schorn, P.C. For five years, Rodriguez & Schorn, P.C. represented employees in connection with all phases of workers’ compensation claims. The firm fought for injured employees of suscribers and non-subscribers (employers that choose not to carry insurance) and provided representation for claims of workers’ compensation retaliation; discrimination based on race, sex, national origin, age, religion, and disability; and violations of the Texas Whistle Blowers Act.

After five years of managing Rodriguez & Schorn, P.C., Gary started the Law Offices of Gary L. Rodriguez P.C. Gary’s firm focused on trial law, workers’ compensation law, and serious personal injury cases. Gary has had a great amount of success before many juries. He has been cited for his judgments in newspapers across the United States, including Florida, Texas, and Colorado. Gary is a frequent speaker at bar association meetings, speaking on issues of Workers’ Compensation Death Benefits and Wrongful Death Claims.
